Kagoshima Saemidori Shincha

A deeply satisfying spring green tea form Kagoshima.  Delicate, deep green leaves from the Saemidori varietal give this tea an intensely deep green flavor.  The tea brews thick with a shimmery blue/green color.  Wet, mossy forest aromas with hints of umami seaweed give way to a semi-sweet, gyokuro-like, after taste.  A rich green tea to drink while contemplating the bounties of nature.
