This organic Darjeeling is a great, summer harvest (2nd flush picking) Indian black tea from the hills of Risheehat Tea Estate. A beautiful tea with deep amber leaves and a number of golden tips brews a robust and full bodied tea. Big, round aromas of brown sugar, cinnamon, and caccao abound with hints of roasted chestnuts and coffee. The liquor is smooth, earthy, and rich with bold, bitter sweet flavors and background notes of bright citrus. A perfect tea to accompany a thick slice of French toast with maple syrup.
